Chiropractic's Core Principles

  1. A Universal Intelligence (God) is in everything and causes it to exist, including you!
  2. The Intelligence in you (Spirit) creates your Life Energy in order to express itself through your body.
  3. Your Life Energy is in every one of your cells, and uses your nerve system (brain, spinal cord, nerves and neurotransmitters) to coordinate and control everything, and maintains your natural state of ease (i.e., health).  Nerve Energy = Life Energy, the only thing to leave a human being upon death is the electrical energy over the nerve system.
  4.  Without clear neurological connections, you cannot correctly comprehend and respond to your internal and external environments.  The result is a progressive loss of your natural state of ease (health).  This is called the dis-ease process.
  5. Misalignments, lack of motion, or dysfunctions of your spinal column called subluxations impact your nerve system and cause interference in the free expression of your Life Energy.  This causes you to steadily lose your natural state of ease (i.e., it causes the dis-ease process).
  6. Subluxations are caused when your internal resistance to physical, chemical, mental and emotional stresses is too low to successfully adapt to those stresses.
  7. Your internal resistance can be lowered by focusing on unpleasant things, making unhealthy lifestyle choices and by the subluxation process itself.
  8. The Chiropractic adjustment process restores your neurological connections and the free expression of your Life Energy.  This, along with a positive life focus and a healthy lifestyle, progressively raises your internal resistance to stress and allows you to return to and maintain your natural state of ease (health), and continue growing toward wellness and wholeness.

The important questions to ask are:

When would be a good time to start receiving the benefits from chiropractic care?

A)  When I feel a pain in my back or neck.  B)  When I feel any symptom that I have been told chiropractic can help.  C)  When I don't feel quite right.  D)  Now, for me and my family, because I know that subluxations can be present without feeling them and every phase of life can benefit from regular chiropractic care.

When do you want to stop receiving the benefits from chiropractic care?  A) When I feel better.  B) When all my symptoms are gone.  C) When I know my symptoms will not return.  D) Never, I always want to receive the many benefits from chiropractic care

How many adjustments do you need to get your spine working at an optimal level?

A)  One.  B)  Three times a week for a year.  C)  Two times a week for three months.  D)  It depends on how my spine and nerve system responds to the adjustments.  In the initial phase of care it is best to get checked two to three times per week in order to reshape, remold, retrain, and restore the spine and nerve system.

How often should you get your spine checked for subluxation throughout your lifetime?

A)  Only when it gets bad.  B)  As soon as I start feeling it  C)  Maybe once or twice a year for prevention.  D)  At least twice a month, and possibly every week depending upon my overall desire to be well and keep well.
