Not only are they cheaper and nicer than Digipaks, they are especially great for the fact that they are so lightweight you will save heaps of dosh shipping them around the world. Cheaper prices available for labels and artists interested in trading copies of the discs and back catalog, negotiated on a job by job basis, however this is basically for acts with unusual or experimental music that we can sell in our online distro and market stall.

If you do find cheaper rates for pressed discs, please let us know as we are happy to match any prices and it also gives us a chance to elbow our suppliers for a better deal.

dualpLOVER CD & DVD replication services, like our irreverent label, handle the business of manufacturing discs a little differently than most. Ours is a no-frills service were the onus is on you to provide us with ready to go production parts in exchange for the best replication prices available. In addition to this we offer discounts for trade copies for our distribution arm and most importantly as a fellow DIY label ourselves know just how important your discs are.

We first came into being in 1995, firstly as a promoter of gigs with an aim to raise funds to release our first disc (a kombi: music to drive-by). Eventually we managed to raise the money and in 1996 dualpLOVER was a label. As a small Australian label producing unconventional music that no one wanted to buy, we had to seek ways of lowering the inhibitive costs of producing CD's. So in 1997 with two releases ready to go (peeled hearts paste and the first of the rebirth of fool series) and friends planning releases of their own, we approached a factory for a bulk quote, saving us all money, this is how dualpLOVER cut price CD/DVD manufacturing began.
