Shallowdeep : Maybe Never
The momentum and energy of the song is great. I love the guitar picking to slowly bring in the heavy electric. It's a catchy riff consistent throughout the song. The hook is solid. I love how you tell a story and the audience can sing along with it. I really enjoy the song all in all. I have to say something negative though or we're sitting on a hit and no one knows about it yet. In my opinion, the energy build up is great, but it comes up a little bit short. Two thirds of the way into the song, I could see you going into a Helmet style choppy riff, just thrashing (a little less repetitive)for a couple of stances prior getting back into your chorus. I would also say that I see you fitting into a particular genre of rock, which can be good or bad. It really doesn't matter in the end if you have mass appeal or a following like your building now. However, if the record industry or someone like me can't define you but we like what we hear, in my mind, you're in better shape. I don't want you to sacrifice your artistic integrity, but I suppose my advice is to try different things...experiment.
Again, sorry it took so long and I have to say that you guys have alot going for you. You sound great. I'm looking forward to catching a live show sometime soon.
