Tragic news people!!! Saddam Hussein executed!

I won't go into the legal machinations (it was pretty much a victors trial) but the execution was very convenient both for the Iraqi government and its American patrons: execute Saddam for the 1982 'Dubail Massacre' and thus keep him quite about his Invasion of Iran, Kuwait, usage of chemical and biological weapons and the copious support he received from Western nations.
All the not-so-well-kept secrets about the UK's and USA's support for their favourite dictator will most likely go to the grave with Saddam.

On a final note: Saddam went to the gallows with dignity and courage, while his executioners who claim to hold the moral highground belittle themselves and others they represent  by taunting the former Iraqi leader during his final seconds.
