wow, what a mental weekend! played a great gig in leeds in Amy's uni kitchen. played all our songs, which is probably about 15 in total, and impressed quite a few art students! it was acoustic, but that was nice coz the vocals were really clear.

the next day, battling northern hangovers, we all packed into the car (a citroen ax) with 2 amps and 3 guitars and started a cosy journey down to warwick. i hadn't pumped my tires for 6 months (stupid arty-no-care-for-mechanics me) and after screeching and smoke, we burst a tire on the M1!!! luckily the AA were on hand and on we went, pumped up and ready to playyy...

...to pete's mates at warwick who were very appreciative, even though we played acoustically in a seminar room! they were very welcoming people too, involving us in a big game of ring of fire as soon as we arrived, where we learnt lots about them that you wouldn't normally find out on a first meeting!



what fun! i think we'll be hitting warwick again in Feb and maybe Cambs for a one off date.
