Wednesday, June 3, I begin The Great Northwest Music Tour that brings me and my band to McMenamins venues all over Oregon - Bend, Troutdale, McMinnville, Centralia, Portland, Gearhart and Forest Grove. As part of the tour, we'll be celebrating the Edgefield's 98th Birthday Bash next Thursday with some great bands including the Stolen Sweets, Kerosene Dream and others.
I've toured McMenamins once before with Dirty Martini and it's most excellent to be "on tour" in and around Oregon! The venues are all inside the quaint and cozy hotels that make up the McMenamins Kingdom. :) There's no age discrimination at these shows, everyone's allowed. And there's no charge either! It's all FREE.
Also, joining me for the whole tour is Breanna Paletta, a fabulous NW songwriter. The Willamette Week praise: “Her voice rings clear and true, and Paletta shines: she sings the kind of songs that seem to have come to you like the very summer air.” She opens the shows at 7:00 PM. We go on at 7:45 PM.
