The following excerpt of an email is part of why I really was not looking forward to being back on the open market, so to speak...

Try to understand, the position of a guy becoming (romantically) involved w/a a [sic] female atty. If things did not go well, he would be well, at a serious disadvantage in most every way imaginable. You're trained to run circles around laymen. (its your job, to put it nicely) We would be 'courting' disaster from the outset.

Start w/ an unintended pregnancy...or the worst case senario [sic] a divorce. A REAL mess for the layman involved w/ a female atty. I am old enough (ie. wise ) to give attys a wide berth."

Before you went [sic]ing this idiot's email, you probably should have proofread your own: "The following except [sic] of an email..." LOL ;^)

Can I get some context here? It sort of sounds as if you may have asked this Bozo out... Anyway, his logic is rather flawed, he sounds insecure, and I think, in layman's terms, a "pussy."

I'd say he did you a favor. Find a real man.

What typo on mine? (just kidding-- I edited it!) It was one of those Match.com "winks"-- one of my friends told me to give it a try.
Oy.

Funnily enough, the first word that popped into my mind was "Pussy". I'm not upset-- it was just so LAME that I had to share the laugh.

I mean, what good it being out dating (or attempting to, anyway) if my friends can't get the occasional giggle from the pack of idiots I must sift through to find a real man...
