is it just me or are bands on myspace getting totally out of control??

CRAP! I am so sick of getting slammed with "band spam".........

"How are you? Have you checked out our new website" ***NO.....I HAVEN'T.....***

"we have a new CD" ***BIG DEAL......***

"we have a new gig" ***WOW.......***


sheesh........if bands worked half as hard on their music as they do pushing it, they might be worth a listen........

Now I'm not putting down all bands and I understand the need to push yourself.......but I just can't imagine that spamming people really works........

okay.......thank you for letting me spew......

I have to say I agree- I try to only accept bands I can stand to listen too- otherwise~ they get the boot!

I love how there's an option here to ignore friend/events requests from bands on myspace. I know bands have a huge audience, but they should provide a little incentive for us to check them out. :)
