The end of July is upon us, and that means Final Friday arrives this week. You'll want to make sure to stop by ENJOY THE ARTS/START GALLERY (1338 Main St.) for the eclectic work of artist ADAM MALONEY. Combining personal experiences with an intense fascination with Romanticist ideals, Maloney has created his debut exhibition, The Ladies Love a Suicide Bomber. The title inspires curiosity, of course, but his subject matter -- an exploration of women's stereotypical attraction to the "bad boy" -- most assuredly heightens it. Without giving anything away, it's safe to say that Maloney's version of the "bad boy" is more dangerous than expected. His mixed-media work is elementary and bold, with strong lines and distinctions -- the word "frenzied" comes to mind. Be among the first to see what the ladies love at the opening reception 6-10 p.m., Friday. Through Sept. 22.
