I just noticed I haven't posted a blog in about 2 years on here! Since I'm bored and not tired yet, I thought I'd give a life update...
Sarah and I broke up about a month ago, about a month after we had just moved into a house together. It was sort of imminent, though. There were things she wanted, that I didn't have. It's okay though, I think we're both happier like this. I think we were together for about a year and a half.
I was planning on being single for a while, and I was until two days ago. I met a girl named Chelsie :)
The only reason I really decided to be with her rather than staying single is she has a lot of the things I am looking for and am myself:
Creative (sings, plays guitar, etc.)
VERY into music
Open-minded
Not into getting drunk/high all the time
Gets along with my friends
Likes to do stuff that may seem dorky and uncool
Sort of clumsy (in a good way)
Pretty/cute
Our relationship is simple right now and I like it.
Anyway, Brayton, Will and I are all getting an apartment. We've already been approved and I think we're moving into it at the beginning of next month. I look foward to having my own room and a "studio" room with all of our computers/keyboard/mic/etc.
I also plan on going back to college at Louisville Tech once I'm finally settled. I know I keep telling people that, but I planned on going back when I was with Sarah, then we broke up, so I've had to deal with other stuff.
I also have 2 albums on the way. The first is just going to be self-titled, I think. The second will be my funny album, with all of my crunk/80's songs, including the Bubble Rap and Ass 2 Mouth (Eat it Like a Sundae). I plan on getting a professional to help make music videos for the two most popular songs.
The albums will be released through a service called TuneCore, which then distributes your albums to all popular music services such as iTunes, Amazon MP3, Napster, etc. I'm pretty excited, although I'm not rushing my work as I want my debut stuff to be of decent quality. I'm also going to pay a music engineer to master all of the tracks, and it gets quite costly, so I'm saving money. Mastering a song pretty much makes the song "loud" in a technical way, so that it pars up to all other music in the genre, and sounds professional.
I suppose that's it for now. :)
