Millions of homeless animals are not as lucky.  Georgia has one of the highest kill rates in the nation & many shelters still use the barbaric gas chamber as a method of euthanization. 
 
 
SAVING GEORGIA DOGS IS TRYING TO CHANGE THIS
& WE NEED YOUR HELP!
 
 
Saving Georgia Dogs, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization & licensed rescue in Georgia.  We're an all-volunteer grass
roots group with members from all over the world.  We save dogs every
day on death row in high kill shelters throughout Georgia.  Through the
generosity of people like you, we've saved over 700 dogs since we began
in July 2006.
 
We're once again participating in a contest being offered by Kevin Bacon/6 Degrees.org., this time for the chance to win a $50,000 grant from Parade Magazine & the Case Foundation thru America's Giving Challenge!  It's another remarkable opportunity that we couldn't pass up for the dogs & will allow us to continue our daily rescue efforts as well as do so much more, including fulfilling our dream to buy a transport van.
 
The 8 organizations with the HIGHEST NUMBER OF DIFFERENT DONORS by January 31, 2008 at 3 PM EST will win a matching grant (multiple donations from a single individual to the same 6 Degrees Charity Badge will be only be counted once).
