In providing opportunities to the indie artist, Pitch-A-Song™ will provide this channel of access at a reasonable cost. For Indiegrrl 2009, Pitch-A-Song™ submission is only $10.00 per single entry or 3 songs for $25.00 mailed in and online by the deadline of Sun. Aug. 15, 2009.* ....

1. The song or track (vocal or instrumental) submitted must be on CD, of broadcast quality and must be "cleared," (i.e. copyright ownership, session artist releases and, if applicable, valid work-for-hire contracts) Entries will be pre-screened and chosen by a panel of industry pros for the Pitch-A-Song™ final playlist. All artist contact info, song title and credits must be on the CD/demo provided for pitch as this is a requirement for finalist selection.....
2. One set of lyrics on Word or PDF doc are needed with entry form for songs (not applicable for instrumentals). ....
3. Submissions online via Paypal at pitchasong@gmail.com or mail check or money-order payment to “Coalition of Songwriter & Music Organizations” aka (COSMO) until deadline of ..Sun. Aug. 15, 2009... 4. The 15 top finalists selected prior to Indiegrrl 2009 will be notified by Aug. 18th. We will select 3-5 songs from walkups to add to the Pitch-A-Song™ for Top 20 finalists before panel.....
5. Pitch-A-Song™ will return music submitted only if SASE is included plus $5 for handling.....
6. Industry panelists will hear the songs for the first time live at the event.....
7. The Indiegrrl 2009 Women in the Arts Pitch-A-Song™ will be open to the public as space allows. Press and photographers may be present and attendance shall constitute permission to be photographed and shall allow such photography to be used by producers and sponsors for non-commercial promotion and publicity.....
8. A major portion of the Pitch-A-Song™ submission proceeds after expenses will go to the not-for-profit Coalition of Songwriter & Music Organizations (COSMO) The Coalition has no paid employees. www.cosmocoalition.org.....
