Howdy!
Fall is officially upon us. I have said many times that I am a fan of fall - pumpkin pie, changing leaves and colors, light jackets. This year though, I can honestly say I am not looking forward to winter. The last 2 Ohio winters have really been long and cold. But it's not time for that yet.
The 4th Annual Evening for Chuck was a nice success! We raised nearly $6,000! Thanks for your support, and we look forward to next year (Sept. 12th, 2010)!
I'd like to ask you to mark your calendars for Oct 11th. It is a Sunday. I am performing at the Mountain Rose Concert Series in Kent (address in the tour dates section). It kicks off at 7pm. But the real reason I think you should be there is that I am sharing the night with Charley Brown. Charley is one of the main reasons Im performing and this far along. He is a mentor and wonderful friend. I have a feeling this is going to be truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and show. Charley's been playing for over 40 years and has written songs for some folks you know. He's amazing. Really.

* We'd like to wish our drummer and friend, Dominic Tancredi, a wonderful wedding and much future success as he has decided to move on to some other opportunities. And at the same time, we'd like to welcome our new drummer, Brandon Austin, to our musical landscape! He'll be making his public debut this week at Northside and the Canton Palace Theater!

It is an intimate experience that you will not soon forget! And it's really pretty easy, too! We can even do some full band house concerts for anyone interested in that experience! 11 • Mountain Rose Concert Series • (Roy Smith Shelter House in Fred Fuller Park, 497 Middlebury Rd, Kent) • 7:00pm. I've been asked back to Mountain Rose, and once again with my friend Charley Brown! Charley is one of the reasons I am performing. He is a mentor and amazing personal and musician. What a special night this will indeed be! $7. You'll wanna be there.
15 • Zach Unplugged at Uncorked Wine Bar • (High St near corner of Market St, Akron, OH) • 6:30pm. I can't tell you how fun this show will be! Great wines, and a completely unplugged set. This is going to be a very intimate and unique set!
16 • Barley House • (222 S. Main St, Akron) • 9:00pm. Full band set!
17 • Peacefare Not Warfare • (The Gazeebo @ Lake Anna, Barberton) • 1:00pm. "We must be the change we wish to see in the world." - Gandhi.
17 • House of Blues • (E. 4th St, Cleveland) • 7:00pm. Full band set! Kickin the Cancer Blues benefit w/ Kristine Jackson, The Jack Fords, and Austin "Walkin" Cane. www.kickingthecancerblues.org for more info and tickets.
19 • Wolf Creek Winery • (2637 S Cleveland - Massillon Rd, Norton) • 7:00pm.A wonderful setting with great wines and good people!
24 • Thorncreek Winery • (155 Treet Ave, Aurora, OH) • 7:00pm. Another beautiful winery in a lovely setting!
30 • Outpost • (4962 SR 43, Kent) • 8:00pm. This is a Halloween show, so come dressed up and let's party!
Nov. 9th - 2nd Annual Tribute to Scott's Folkatorium/ Scott Fetterolf - (Funny Stop on State Rd in Cuyahoga Falls). 7:00pm. Scott was a great man and is deeply missed. Come join me in celebrating his spirit!
Nov. 13 - Kent State Folk Fest - (Pufferbelly's in Kent). 6:30pm. This is always a great fun night! Stop by and see me for a minute.
Plus, i'll be returning to Louisville, KY and Nashville soon!
