Last week was quite an eventful one in the Nervosa camp, with our roadtrip to Bridport and Brighton, which was great fun.
We performed a 90 minute set at The Ropemakers in Bridport, which went really well, and gave us the chance to play all of our songs, rather than trying to pick and choose what to play for shorter sets.
We camped out afterwards, the site not only had the "David Bellamy Nature" award, but also, and more importantly, the "Loo of the Year" award. They were pretty nice loo's, as loo's go...
After a massive fry up at a truckers cafe (it's all glamour) we travelled on to Brighton, and invaded Matt and Rich's batchelor pad. We were happy with the way the gig went at the Providence - nice venue - and managed to catch up with lots of mates, and much drinking/dancing went on.
Thanks to all of you who came along and made it a great night :)
Woke up Sunday morning to full on SNOW! Which was unexpected - and made us thankful it hadn't arrived on Friday night!
We'll stick some photos in the pics section when we get a chance.
We found out on Sunday that we had won an award on an internet music site, which was nice! Funky Moped was voted by IAC site users as "best industrial beat rock song of 2007" ahead of The Chemical Brothers and NIN! We're currently number 1 on their chart, which is nice :)
