Dig out the Paisley, dust down the Afghan, light a celebratory joss stick - it's Psychedelic Double Bubble time !!
Two events in one venue over two weekends (Sats 19 & 26 Sept), with a mind altering line-up of psych/prog/kraut/space acts from all around the known universe.

And because this isn't some breadheaded money grabbing scam by "the man", man, tickets are a defiantly affordable £6 for one day, or £9.50 for a Double Bubble two day ticket. That's for up to 14 hours of getting intimate with your inner cosmic grooviness.

Here's the deal so far, though there are more spacial guests to be added...

DrumEyes : The wildest brainchild of Shige "DJ Scotch Egg" Ishihahra, this ever evolving collective includes members past and present of The Boredoms, Trencher, Power Up! and Phil Collins 3. Fluid, frenzied, full-on psych jamming
Prince Rama Of Ayodhya : From Boston, USA. However, they sound closer to if The Incredible String Band had been transported to a medieval Hari Krishna commune where they recorded a raft of Tibetan monks playing Orb cover versions, or something. It's a mantra filled, uplifting, disorientating and very, very psychedelic.
Notorious Hi-Fi Killers : will arrive fresh off the ferry from Tilburg with a bag full of frazzling riff filled acid rock.
Eat Lights; Become Lights : Electrified krautrock blisstronics from the Big City. A 1000w winner !

Diagonal -
The fleeting organs on tracks ‘Pact’ and the punning ‘Semi Permeable Men-brain’ are as unpredictable and delicate as those found on Miles Davis’ ‘In A Silent Way’, while the vocals on ‘Child of The Thunder Cloud’ tap sparingly into the same vein as folk-rock royalty Pentangle. This is prog, dude, but not as we know it.” – NME
Current nominees for Classic Rock Magazines "Newcomer Of The Year" !!
Esben And The Witch - Intense gothic psychedelia. The only band PIO has ever booked solely through listening to their myspace page, they've also just won the accolade of "Best Demo" from the notoriously vicious Stool Pigeon's new band review page...
Electric Assembly -
"The Velvet Underground plays Boards Of Canada produced by Kevin Shields arranged by Sun Ra listened to by Syd Barrett." What more, seriously, could you want ?
