A year end celebration for the Stop The Violence Campaign - the Official Foundation of the Toronto Argonauts CFL Football Team - to announce to the Toronto media that the Stop The Violence Campaign raised over $500,000.00 in year one!! Amazing!! Under the leadership of Keith Pelley, the President and CEO of the Toronto Argonauts, Stop The Violence, a multi-faceted plan to tackle violent crime in the City of Toronto, was launched. The campaign sees the city..s oldest professional sports team bring forth a call to action from both community and business leaders to address issues of violent and gun-related crimes.

Stand-Up For Stop The Violence will feature celebrity comedians - Fraser Young, Richard Ryder, Jo-Anna Downey, Winston Spear, comedy by John Avery from the Toronto Argos, host - Laura Prosko and celebrity guest appearances by two Toronto Argos who will "attempt" to try Stand-Up Comedy for the first time! And Celebrity headliner Mr. Kenny Robinson!!
