Well, you know Carl Webb just had to chime in on this one. Maj. Nidal
Malik Hasan was a victim of racism! Everything is race related with
Carl. I am also a racist in his eyes. Race is always a factor in
everything he engages in. Even when it is clearly not the case at all.
Who is the real bigot here? Carl Webb is. Below is a statement posted
on the IVAW website:
"Major Nidal Malik Hasan was born in Virginia to parents who immigrated
to the US from Jordan. He joined the army immediately after high
school, and in exchange the army paid for him to go to college and
medical school. According to Hasan's aunt, he had sought for several
years to receive a discharge, due to harassment relating to his
religion, Islam. Hasan's cousin, Nader Hasan, a lawyer in Virginia,
said that Nidal Hasan turned against the wars after hearing the stories
of those who came back from Afghanistan and Iraq. The cousin added that
Hasan had been harassed by his Army colleagues because of his Middle
Eastern ethnicity."

Carl, I have to ask you, isn't this want you wanted? He sabotaged the
deployment for these units. Are you sure your not jumping up and down
for joy?
Carl Webb is a bigot in ever sense of the word. He hates Soldiers, he
hates this country, and in all likelihood, he would probably would hate
you too. This country has A LOT to answer for in what they've done. But
they don't answer to Carl Webb.
I'm not saying he didn't endure racism, he very well could have. But
this is just being used to further Carl's agenda. Carl, why not one
word about the victims? Do you agree with Doug Zachary that it's not
that big of a deal?
This is the modern day way of spitting on a Soldier. With bogus rape
statistics and only highlighting Soldiers as murders, racists, and
rapists, this is just Soldier bashing. I served with many different
races, and religions. Including Islam. If there was racism, or a rape
epidemic, trust me, you would have heard about it from me. I have no
love for the Army, and I don't pull punches, but I also don't get down
with bashing Soldiers.
Hope your happy Carl, he's a freedom fighter that sabotaged a deployment.
