1. What's new in the Bowels Out camp?

- Just keepin busy man. For the moment, we won't be playing too many local shows. Our top priority is writing new, brutal, grindalicious material for our next album.

2. How and when did Bowels Out start?

- If I'm not mistaken, Bowels Out started back in 2002. With the acception of Juan (vocals), it was an entirely different line-up. It consisted of Ivan (Yoda's Eye) on vocals/guitars, Danny (Obeisance) on Drums, and Juan on Bass/Vocals.

Ah man. I don't even know how the hell it all started out. Soooooo I'm just gonna make something up...

These 3 guys started a 2-step brass band that didn't work out. So...swallowing their pride (among other things) they opted to start a crust/deathgrind band!

3. Who's in the band these days and what do they do?

- Currently, the line-up consists of myself [Guitars & Low Growls], Larry [Bass], Juan [Vocals], and Joseph [Blast Beats].

4. What bands have influenced you the most?

- Man! This could be one hella long list. To name a few: Immolation, Wormed, Excretion, Goratory, Pustulated, Foetopsy, Emeth, Guttural Secrete, and Infliction. Shit like that.

5. How do you think the metal scene in Hell Paso compares to other parts of the cuntree?

- Hell Paso is kinda strange man. Our scene seems extremely separated. There are bands that have their little 'click's'. That aside, I think we have a pretty fucken sick scene!! It's definitely come a long way!

However, the response we received in Seattle....pshhh. I SAID GODDAMN!! Them's some sick mo fuggahs!!!!

6. Are you guys working on new shit for the next album?

- Thats affirmative! We're really pushing ourselves to the extremes to write the sickest fucking heap of shit our fuckpipes are capable of!!! PREPARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7. For those who have never attended a Bowels Out show, how would you describe your live performance?

- I'd say our live performances are usually pretty crazy. Personally, I go fucken nuts! I like kicking the piss outta anyone nearby (bandmates included). Sometimes it even results in injury.

At a show in Albuquerque, I was flippin out & tried to kick Juan's asspipe inside out. He saw me coming & decided to move...I fell right into the Drums. Broke the Drumhead, fucked my ankle up, fell on top of some other bands cymbal stand & raked my back....the end result...THE CROWD LOVED IT!!!!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!

8. How did the recent tour with Pungent Stench go?

- Those crazy Austrians!! haha. This tour was a lot of fun. Got to see a lot of the west coast. Both Pungent Stench & Bowels Out played some fucking awesome shows!! Sadly, due to the incompetence of a booking agent, we were playing for hardly anyone the majority of the time. Oh well.

***If there are any bands out there that are thinking of using EXTREMITY RETAINED BOOKING.... I suggest you do some research.*** ....fucking weak.

9. Any plans for another tour at all in the remainder of 2006? Any plans for a 2007 tour yet?

- I don't think we'll be doing anymore touring this year. The remainder of 2006 will be spent writing new shit. As far as 2007, there are no concrete plans to tour. We're trying to set up a Canadian tour (possibly with Intestinal Strangulation [CA]). And Eventually tour Japan. These tours WILL happen, we just don't know when yet.

10. If you could tour with any 5 bands of your choice, who would you pick?

- 1. Blistering Fetus
2. Beneath the Massacre
3. Carnival in Coal
4.Napalm Death
5. Styx

11. Besides playing brutal music, what do you do for fun?

- When we're not sweating our nuts off in the jam room, you can usually find us drinking. We all like gettin nice & drunk. After all...thats when the magic happens. haha.

12. What are some of your favorite horror movies?

- Bad Taste, A bucket of Blood, Re-Animatior, Shaun of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Zombie, Dead Alive, The Blob, Evil Dead, Hellraiser, Night of the living dead (b&w). meh. The same ol shit every horror fan digs.

13. Thanks for the interview. Any final comments?

- Joseph and I are a part of a new band hailing from both: California and Texas, CRANIAL MEATUS (me-ate-us). This band will feature myself (Guitars), Joseph (Blast Beats), Chop (Vocals-NO INHALES! Blistering Fetus/ Ex-Excretion), and Mike (Bass). When this shit drops, its gonna blow the shit right outta your asshole!! Stay tuned!
