San Diego CA- as fire rages in Southern California a state of emergency is declared. San Diego is down to a crawl as all resources are focused on making sure that everyone is all right. Which is good especially when you compare Firestorm 2007 to the Cedar fires of 2003, which was an embarrassing rude awakening of how ill prepared San Diego and CA was for an event such as this.

I wanted to give you just a brief glimpse of how Firestorm 2007 is affecting small business. Half of our team was evacuated so they are most likely out for most of the week. We hope and pray that their homes are fine.

Jason (Project Manager) was working on a commercial shoot that was canceled and pushed forward 2 weeks because the fires have taken the law enforcements priority so they cannot allocate resources to a commercial shoot.

We have been asked by the City to stay off the road as much as possible to keep it clear
