Emailer from July 22:

Hi all,

We're pretty upset that our "friend" Summer up and ditched us this year, so we'd like to lament the loss of warmth, rays and overall good spirits with a show next week.  The great Boston music blog Ryan's Smashing Life is sponsoring "A Night of Twang and Awe," with a bunch of cool bands that don't call themselves country, but sorta do.  We hear that thing the sun has shown up a few times down south this season, so maybe the music will allow us to at least dream of a day without rain.*  The show is at Great Scott (great acoustics in there) in Allston, and of course is a perfect way to break up your rain-filled week.

Also, here's a nice review of our recent show at Church from Playground Boston and here are some videos and pictures courtesy of our favorite crush Boston Band Crush.

We're still working on our album, eager to master it in the next few weeks, and a CD release party is in the works, we swear.  Stay tuned...

Finally, in addition to 'facing'**, we tweet!  We're updating our Twitter page with random and interesting links to other stuff out there on those interwebbings because we're sick of talking about ourselves.***

* Yes, we were TOTALLY referring to this song.
** There really is no good verb for posting updates on Facebook, so we hope we just invented this term. We'll obviously be rolling in dough soon...
*** But in reality we're totally shallow and insecure and will promise not to cry ourselves to sleep if you follow us on Twitter. Sigh.
