Current mood:  accomplished
Well, well, well! This is what happens when a lot happens, you forget to document it! Well, here's my attempt:

There  was mention of Shropshire Hill Country, well, that is nearly finished, just waiting on release details and a few tracks to be finished. Can't wait, it really is very nice.

Another release? Indeed, Records on Ribs are currently sorting out "Wind, Thee Wind" for release, a collection of 4 tracks and a poem all based around the winds of change,  the effects and ways change is shown and felt. The music was recorded at various moments over the last 3 years, documenting different times and influences (both personal and musical). Hopefully that shall be up soon.

Over the last 6 months I have been involved with 3 exhibitions at the Hive Gallery in Shrewsbury, the first "Silent Music" (as part of the "Vintage Exhibition") involved 2 photographs of mine of the local  countryside and a wind-up radio somehow playing a selection of my music  through the airwaves. Anyone worked it out yet? It looked like this:

  Vintage ran from 14th November - 23rd December 2008

The second was part of the "Obsolete Exhibition" and was also entitled "OBSOLETE". The exhibition celebrated old, or "obsolete" media, there was a Moon Lander model made out of old tapes and floppy disks, "The Evolution of Mac" including a 1984 "Macintosh 128k" and lights made out of baking VHS tape. My own contributions included an original "ASTROWARS" game console, a Tandy 102 portable computer with instructions on how to program it in the BASIC programming language, and a collection of 8 short films reclaimed from 8mm camcorder tape and edited to music before being transferred to VHS tape and projected. This now exhists as "OBSOLETE", on both VHS and DVD. It is something I need to work out what to do with. But it is also here on YouTube:

  Obsolete ran from 6th March – 10th April 2009

The  third is part of "Fusion", a collection of art and poetry by people  with Asperger's Syndrome. I am involved in running the group "Autonomy" and have  contributed 39 photographs to the showreel projection and 4 prints of  my photography. Also included are poets Mark Parry and Isobel Stone and award winning photographer Danny Beath amongst others.

Fusion runs from 29th May - 26th June 2009

In this time I also managed to finish a music video for Epic45. Watch it here:

In other news, I have finished a round of dates including Wheaton Aston, Stourbridge and London, with Rob Dunsford, we still have 2 more festival appearances this summer, at The Workhouse Festival in Llanfyllin and Solfest up in Cumbria. Check out the gigs section for deets!

Epic45 have asked me to join them as a member of their live band and we are currently booking a tour (also to include EL Heath solo sets) in Europe between 19th-31st of October. Exciting news! I have also recorded accordion on a Depeche Mode cover they are releasing soon, as well as working on "Criggion" a documenting and musical project exploring the eerie abandoned local radio station. News soon.

T'ra!
