Who Gives Kudos:

Tuesday, October 06, 2009
Today, a local journalist asked me to send him a complete discography of everything I ever issued (including demos), under many names, being The Joy of Nature/The Joy of Nature and Discipline the only that remains after 11 years.

Music has been the main and most stable thing in 11 years. It commands, in many ways, my life. Cyclically I get tired of seeing music as the stable and main thing in my life and just want to give up.

But we don't give up anything. Things just stop making sense for us and we abandon not really thinking about it. At least, that's the way it works for me.

Music still makes a lot of sense to me. The last years have been extremely prolific. That's why some works were self-released; it's not a matter of cashing-in.

It's not necessary to say how much music can mess up with everyday life. How what is behind and beyond music can direct one's life. But there are no complaints or "look at me" attitude in these words. It's just the way it is.

There's still a lot of work to issue and complete. But there are other dimensions in life to take care of. And to find the right balance isn't ever easy.

The main thing is always to be pure and act accordingly to oneself. But everything's worthy (and praise, for instance, isn't a precious thing) takes sacrifice. The only way to overcome one's false aspirations and ego is to overcome the burden placed at one's shoulder.
