... and their love of music, the album will be released on their own label FAR which has been gaining recognition on the Disco scene .
Faze Action started out in the mid 90s quickly gaining recognition with
their underground hit “In The Trees” (recently remixed by Carl Craig
and released on Juno records) albums, Djing tours have since followed
along with many memorable live shows.
However it is since they launched their new material on their own label
FAR in 2007 that a new era began for Faze Action quickly gaining
support from the likes of Lindstrom, Prince Thomas, Rub n, Tug Idjut
boys , Jay shepheard, Dave Lee, and many more.
The Album They Came From Outta Space
Faze Action have put together one of the most exciting albums of the
year. Playing to their strengths, the album fuses disco, balearica and
a smattering of psychedelica. Faze Action effortlessly manage to
combine theremins, moogs, ‘cello’s into their songs to create an album
which is both a combination of space disco classics and down tempo
cosmic wonders. Featuring the glossy vocals of Mary Moore with the
ethereal, haunting tones of Tasita D’mour and Faze Action’s own Rob Lee.
From the opening intro you get a feeling that the eleven-track album is
going somewhere positive. From the up-tempo “Good Lovin’”, the
psychedelica of “Venus and Mars”,to the kitsch disco of starship via
the down tempo, Balearic “Danae’s Journey” to the infectious, string
laden “I Wanna Dancer”, sounding like a lost disco classic with
commercial appeal.
At the early stages the single “Good Lovin’” is already starting to
build with plays on BBC radio and receiving heavy support from the
disco community. This album is set to take you on an interplanetary
journey.
