...that I'm pretty sure Saddam Hussein isn't dead.

Anderson Cooper said he'd air video or photos of the hanging as soon as CNN got them from Iraq -- I watched all night and they never aired.  Days have passed -- busy days for most Americans, days which cause obvious, direly important matters like this to fade into the background -- and now today, Tuesday, this is the best CNN can do:

I just watched the video, which can be found here:


...and to me, it looks very obviously fake.  We were told they had news broadcast quality TV cameras at the execution, and many photographers taking stills, and this cell phone capture is the best the world gets?

Is anybody else incredibly suspicious of this?

2.  This article says the cell phone capture was taken illegally by a guy in detention.  Iraqi prisoners have cameraphones?

dude I'm watching the news right now on ABC and they just said that they actually have footage of him falling through the trap door and dying but that they are refusing to air it.  it will probably take some time for the good stuff to make it to the internets. 

but yeah the whole thing could have been staged.  in fact, the way they did it ... it looks like a bunch of hooligans lynching someone .... not the execution of a very important man
