So sad to hear about this. I never knew him but the Flying Canyon CD from last year was one of my very favorites, a real gem in the rough, and I was looking forward to hearing much more from him. My condolences to his friends and family.

My thoughts are with his family and friends. Cayce was such a beautiful person what little interaction I had with him. The world lost a great talent yesterday.
Bye Cayce ...

I sat next to Cayce during Intro to Journalism at Boulder High School in 1983. He was hilarious -- dark, thick eyebrows, huge backpack and a biting, sarcastic, friendly wit. For some reason it stands out that I ran into him one day in front of Albums on the Hill where he was trying very hard to find Frank Zappa's "Joe's Garage" on vinyl.

I liked him a lot even though we hadn't spoken since then.

Just wanted to say goodbye.

I am stunned. My heart goes out to Chela & the boys and all who knew Cayce.
What do you do with a void that can not be filled?

Every time I got to hang out with Cayce he displayed barrels full of love for his two boys and wife. He was one of the most genuinely caring people i've ever met. I miss you Cayce.

Dear Cayce, Family, and Friends,

Just heard about Cayce from some old school Boulder peeps and I (we) are sorry to hear about such heartache, especially now. Words cannot express our deepest sympathy for Cayce, Family, and Friends for whom he touched.

In Peace,

Shaun A
