Hello fans, friends, and pets of friends! It's time for our biennial blog entry. The subject of this blog is the fact that we are slowly turning into squirrels. It's taken us a while to come to terms with this peculiar fact, but now there's no denying it. We've finally managed to make peace with this profound transformation, and even gone so far as to post a picture of this fantastic process in action.
It all started when, like most furry animals, we went into hibernation for the winter. Many bands do this; this being a good time of year for developing ideas, strategies, goals etc. We soon began to realize that the urge for hibernation was more deep rooted than simply a desire for a break from activity and a chance to write new tunes, without worrying about being super-tight for the upcoming shows. It has been certainly all that, but also a period re-assessment, re-definition, and re-evaluation of who/what we are, as well as a discovery of our commitment to our true audience; all of our furry, four-legged friends all over the world.
That being said, on March 28th, at 8 pm, at the Metro Gallery, we walk erect one last time and pay homage to our glorious power-trio past. Joining us will be instrumental heavy rockers "...So i had to" (band of Duff Goldman, founder of Charm City Cakes), and the wildly adorable Minneapolis Henrys who will be touring through our humble city.
Soon after the show, you can look forward to a new record with new sounds lovingly wrought with our own paws, in our own homes.
