Ok! Where to start? Where to start?

Let me first off give a personal internet high five to our new drummer of 7 months, Gareth! if you haven't met him yet, he's an awesome bloke and equally awesome drummer. the last 7 months have been amazing and i feel more than ever that silent front is now the three of us(at last). It's time to get on with it!! which brings me nicely into my next "bit".

We've got lots coming up shows/tours/releases wise. This coming August sees the release of our split 7" with the fantastic Shield Your Eyes (SEE THIS BAND) through the most awesome guys you'll ever meet- We Heart Records, which we will be going away on a brief UK tour with. 5th through to the 9th August (see shows for locations) the two release nights for this 7" will be - 25th JULY @ ZAKS BASEMENT (north london) and the 9th AUGUST @ THE FIGHTING COCKS (sw london)

Also on the tour errrr front (sorry) we have recently been asked by the lovely people in Roll Call For The Second Site to go on a week stint in Germany, which is great of them to ask us. it should be a amazing time, not only to get to know each other a little bit better but to meet others and play a country that we seldom play. THANKS!! we also hope to tie up some French dates for the beginning of the tour too.

In between all this there are plenty of shows coming up, where we will start (after and during tour) exercising our new songs for our first album, which will be titled DEAD LAKE. We are only one song away from completing it and plan to hopefully start recording after either the August or October tours. Release and tour dates then!

In other news! We now have a van, thanks to our lovely drummer Gareth, who sold his car and bought a tasty VW transporter, which we hope to tear up the UK and Europe in soon, once its had a few nips and tucks, few things changed and tuned. come end of August we shall also have a Silent Front HQ as the three of us are moving in together to set up shop, work as little as possible and play as much as possible, be as constructive as possible in all things DIY. any bands that are touring after August and need a place to crash- COME STAY!!!
