Hey guys. Adam here. I know we have kind of been hiding lately so I wanted to give an update on what is going on.

As of right now, Gazelles the band will be going on an indefinite hiatus. As most of you know Jason and Ronald left at the beginning of the year to pursue other endeavors leaving myself and Rachel the sole members of Gazelles. We had planned on continuing as a band with temporary members, but since then have decided to put things on hold for awhile to focus on our personal lives. SXSW fell through this year for us, so I've decided this would be a good breaking point for Gazelles right now.

Does this mean the end of Gazelles? As of right now, yes. It sucks to say but I don't see us playing under the name "Gazelles" anytime in the near future. Things change, opportunities happen, and thats the way things go. The good news is, most of us will still be making music. Jason and Ronald have both signed on as backing members for the Austin electronic pop band Vega, and I have already started working on a solo full length I hope to have out later this summer. I'm sure Rachel will have some part in that as well.

So thats what is going on. I want to apologize to our close friends and bands who have needed our help lately with shows and things of that nature. We have just been everywhere as of late, and we've been taking a lot of time focusing on ourselves.

Sorry for the downer news, but things like this happen. Who knows? Maybe we will be back sooner than later. Keep checking back for updates on all of us and our new projects.
