So, back in 1999, I read this pretty hilarious article in the onion titled
"Totally Hot Chick Also Way Psycho". It had this photo in it:

This photo is an image that the onion bought from a stock photo service that sells images of anonymous models doing different things. Magazines and adversiment creators, textbook publishers and others often buy these photos for use in their ads and publications.
So, the other day, I was looking at the myspace site for
Circle Fears Square, because they sent me a friend request. While looking at the front of Circle Fears Square's myspace page, I noticed a picture of this girl named
"rochelle"..
Here's rochelle's picture:

I thought to myself, "man, that person looks really familiar. Where have I seen this person before?'
What made me laugh about it is that the person who claims to be "rochelle" wrote the caption: "me... just bein me..." under the picture. All of these guys are on there apparently totally believing that this is a real person, writing her crappy poetry, and generally gushing over her.
I've also seen this same stock photo of this same girl in insurance junk mail ads, and several business websites.
