Well, as if Sunday's 14+ inches of snow wasn't enough, we've been having more on and off today.
Corbie, my labrador, decided he didn't want to go home when on our walk earlier and avoided having his lead being put back on by running in circles around me, whilst I stood getting soaked as the snow got heavier.
My shoulder, which I injured whilst sledging on Monday, is not hurting as much today as it has done.
Now the dog has just come along and opened the office door, let all the nice heat out and wandered off elsewhere
I watched most of a programme called Fat Pets which was on Channel 4 last night. Myself and fellow dog owners have come to the conclusion that feeding a pet to the point where it's very obese and it's life is in danger is the same as starving a pet. There was a Rottweiler on there that could hardly move and was fed all this meat and the owner didn't care less, said the dog was happy even if it only lived a short life The dog could hardly move and spent most of its time panting and being cooled by fans! Poor thing. I'm sure it would love to be out running about.
Animal cruelty of any kind makes me so angry.
I also finished a pet portrait yesterday and had the person who commissioned it in tears because she loved it so much - always makes me happy when I know I've done a good job.
