Hello everyone.
This is honestly the hardest thing I've ever had to write. Well there is really no easy way of saying this but...after almost 3 years as well as 3 vans, 1 trailer, countless broken equipment and bones sender receiver is calling it a day.
There is no one really to blame for this honestly, its been almost a long time coming. The band changed lineups more times than Zao has basically. The heart is still there but no body to continue on.
The final nails in the coffin have come within the last few weeks, our longtime now singer Brett's family has been going through quite some financial troubles as well as some deaths have occurred and it has not been easy for him to be there for everyone so he hasn't been able to get back on his feet enough to move back out to Iowa. Luke our drummer for the last 8 or 9 months is having to step down himself due to financial and "health problems". This is a heavy loss to the band and leaving me once again being the only member.
We are all proud of what this band has accomplished in such a short time we have meet so many amazing people and done some amazing tours. We are proud to call ourselves road warriors of sorts, though now these days are long gone.
I honestly had no idea the band would do the things it has done, i've seen the country and meet people who i can now call some of my best friends in the entire world. I am so thankful for this despite the bad times.
Since we started we always had one thing in mind, keeping it fun, keeping it legit and doing this for all the right reasons. I'm proud to say that we have kept this end of the bargain.
As you know we went into the studio and recorded 2 new songs for a split with demeanor, I'm sad to say those will never see the light of day. We have 15 new songs total that will probably never be played live or ever be recorded...this is the one thing that saddens me more than anything. But thats life.
We all are moving on and updates I'm sure will be posted. I would like to say I'm no where near done with music and have big plans as does everyone else.
On an ending note i would like to say thank you EVERYONE for giving us support, love, money, sex, drugs (hah, not), beer, food, housing, clothes, tires, hygiene products, condoms, computers, shows, whatever....you will not be forgotten.
