Current mood:  energetic

Today is the last day of the vacation I've taken from the studio. Clef, Pras, and I dispersed for about two weeks to allow ourselves time to replenish and get our creative juices back. So that means the free time I've had will end shortly. Recording and practicing is a full day requirement.

We hope to have about three new tracks finished soon. I plan to upload them as we finish them.

I can listen to it and find the deepest meaning in what you sing, or I can listen to it and just enjoy. You are by far the best singer of this generation. Lauryn, sweetie, sell your records independently via internet. Hell, as big as your fan base is (myself included) you could boost CD sales exponentially with the release of new "genetic material" (music). People compare you to Amy Winehouse which is cute, but if they took the time to listen to black r n b a decade ago when it wasn't so "hip" with the pop industry they wouldn't even put you two in the same sentence. I respect your beauty, love, wisdom and your pain. It's real. I heard your new single recently and I keep playing it over. You can make anything sound rich, that's why you're a natural resource and will never be used up.
