Great to meet you back here in 2006, when the world was a vibrant, cheerful, optimistic place, and MySpace pointed the way to even better times ahead.

I thought I'd check in and urge you to attend the first show by my band The Greenwoods in exactly two years. We're piping hot and ready to play at Martyrs' this Monday, June 22nd at 9pm sharp. Also on the bill that night are the oozing-with-talent, with pop zing to spare Jeff Freling & The Rock Squad (10pm), and singer/songwriter James Mitchell (8pm).

Martyrs' is located at 3855 N. Lincoln in Chicago, just south of Irving Park Road. There's great food, lots of room, plenty of things to drink, a low cover charge, air conditioning and excellent music all night. So what if it's a Monday. Monday is the new Friday, scientists can prove this.
