Who Gives Kudos:

Tuesday, September 18, 2007

so, back in June and July we went on a tour for 12 days, we hit up some familiar towns in the UK before going over to the mainland for a week. I took a bunch of photos, and filmed a load of shit, but I've only just got a computer and an internet connection. First I'll put some photos, then in the next week or so, I'll be putting up some videos of most of the shows we played, as well as a bunch of funny shit. here goes...

We started as we meant to go on, naked and wet.

Someone put a trampoline trap in their garden!

Don't believe the hype, dirty money aren't that cross. This was probably the best house I've ever stayed in my entire life as well.

Noone would let me leave the house. This was moments before I worked out how to play world coming down on the piano.

Arnold in no.10. Words cannot summarise how much joy this one photo brought to an entire tour. Murder was literally averted simply by this.

And this.

Rob can't take me doing an Arnold grunt for the 800th time.

He ran away to Iraq and was captured by Shiite militants.

After a daring midnight raid we escaped over the channel, I mean, border, and arrived in Holland. This venue was insane, we had our own backstage personnel, a fridge full of fizzy pop, and this was a show for a DEMO RELEASE PARTY. We played and England vs Holland football match outside, but I lost the ball in the first 5 minutes so was public enemy no.1 for the rest of the day.

As if it couldn't get any better, this was the stage we would be playing on. For a demo release party. Blows the Fenton out the water, I can say that much. European toilets are great because you can stop and appreciate your turds after dropping a heifer.

The next day we played Belgium, there was a great skatepark outside as well as a football pitch, and a world music festival in the background. We played wall-ies for about 4 hours and ruined people's lives, it was great fun.

Food in Europe is incredible. We were fed so well at every show, this was no exception. Also in this photo is hard evidence of Pag being the rudest person in the history of the universe. He took about 3 times as much food as everyone else.

Yeah, we played with Earth Crisis. I was so fucking siked. I even sat next to Karl Beuchner upstairs when we were getting food, but he didn't seem to want to chat. Everyone thought it was hilarious, although I failed to see the funny side. I only listened to firestorm about 50000 times and the thanks I get is a worried stare...

Getting some eatdowns going on with Losing Streak. The birds in this town were off the chart. Also our game of birdman got ridiculously out of hand this evening. Much hilarity ensued.

The essential 'outside the venue the next morning' crew shot. I apologise for being such an attention whore.

If all tanks looked like this, then maybe, just maybe world peace could be done!

Muenster. This city was incredible. I'd love to go back soon.

I think I'm the only one in my band that thinks group photos are cool.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

Venue we played in Muenster. "Black Friday 29 will be playing a Judge covers set no they won't"

I was overcome with excitement with the combination of Mountain Dew and finding the most pikey car in Germany.

8 hour journey for what should have been 2 and a half tops. Spirits were high.

What I looked at for about 12 days.

When we got to the venue there was a lady in the carpark about twice as tall as obo just chopping wood with an axe. I felt like it might as well have been my dick on that chopping board.

Toilets were nice though.

So nice we took our kit off and had a group photo/hug

The sleeping arrangements were incredible though. Wrestlemania reconstructions galore.
'
Day 12, Boro Rob goes to a castle'

I have no idea what Obo's doing, I don't think he knew himself.

Absolutely massive breakfast with our german friends.

Just what we needed for a journey like this.

The view was absolutely stunning though.

We were really late getting to Munich, which was a shame because I was looking forward to seeing the city. Maybe another time. The food was amazing though, probably best of tour. And it was a cool atmosphere as well.

Finally, Austria. Got there pretty fast, took about 3 hours to find somewhere to park!

The show was such a good one to finish on. It was rammed, people knew the words to our songs, moshing all round.

One last crew shot before home. It was only 16 hour straight drive back home. Piece of piss.

Rob was so tired he fell asleep in the middle of the road and it took a year to wake him.

BLOG SUBSECTION - TOP 5 DOG PICTURES OF TOUR
While I was on tour, I took it upon myself to catalogue all the brilliant dogs I saw on my journey. While many owners were chased, and many a sneaky shot was taken, only a few came out that well, so here are my favourites.

My housemate wasn't too happy about me going on tour and not bringing her.

Some wolf I met in London. He was on his way to eat some toddlers.

This was a sneaky one, because its owners were wearing freaky fetish type clothes and I didn't want to approach them in case they thought I was propositioning their dog or something. It looked like a fucking polar bear on a lead though.

German people walk their dogs in fountains. German people are brilliant.

Best find of tour. I go into this office to check my email and I make a new best friend.
