The record is moving forward and starting to take a shape that I can understand. Today I borrowed a banjo, an accordion, an autoharp, and a toy piano from a friend here!
Alex and I are in a habit of working all day and stopping around 12 or 1 in the morning to watch Sherlock Holmes. We have some seriously futuristic cross-continental recording in the works for this record, so the string bass will still be ol' reliable Chris Ryan even though I am all the way across the sea in Iceland.
Hopefully this week my friend Kári will come to Alex's and we will record his trombone!
