It's been a really long time since this blog has been updated. Oh well, better late than never, right?

The 2008 home season is over, but what an exciting season it was for the Brawlers! First the Trauma Queens defeated the Tai Chi-tahs. Then the Brawlers took on the Chi-tahs and won that game. The Brawlers, having lost veteran players and taking on several rookies, were not sure how they would fare against the notoriously strong blocking pack of the Queens. The Brawlers fought hard and came out the victors! The championship game saw the same match up, Brawlers vs. Queens. The Queens wanted it really bad! But the Brawlers' captain, Shirley Temper, was not going to make it to the championship game for the third year in a row and leave without the Golden Skate.

The team that was predicted to lose, won all of their home games. It was sweet for all the skaters on the Brawlers and their bench coaches.

As interleague season ramps up, look on the rosters for the All-Stars and the newly formed B-team, the Bootleggers, for some of your favorite Brawlers. Carolina Rollergirls rarely take a break.
