Galloint Friends!

Since the new DVD is nearly done, I decided it was time to start working on the next project in line, which is the 4th David Chicken CD! There will be 15 new songs that -- believe it or not -- I'm really excited about! :)

My band went into the studio this past weekend and put down all the drums and bass guitar for the new tracks. We play "live" as a band but my vocals and guitar are called "scratch tracks" ... I will replace them later, at my home studio.

I've posted a video of my drummer, Jason "Joey" gonzalez, playing a great solo for one of the new songs. He's an amazing drummer and I'm honored to have him performing again on this CD. He has played drums for every David Chicken CD. Brian Patterson is playing bass guitar, and he played on Funky Fish Party as well. He's a tremendous bass player and his kids even sing on my songs! I'm very fortunate to have such fantastic musicians playing on the songs!!

Not sure when this CD will be done -- the DVD is the priority right now -- but I can tell you that I'll be performing some of the new tracks live in the coming months!
