wow....it has been a long long long time. how ive missed everything!
how is everything and everyone?

good i hope. i thought i would do an update for the first time in about 2098230982 years. im doing well by the way. i cant say enough about how amazed at how huge wizard rock has grown over these past couple of years...its really amazing actually. i know ive sorta fallen out of it over the past few months and for that i apologize. im thinking about starting to write some new material here in the next few months, but, at the moment, my hands are full. being a full time student plus playing in 2 other bands and sleeping already take up alot of time. right now, im planning on working on new wizard rock over the next couple of months as long as my new solo project seems like london. if i were you, i say that toward the end of spring time will be a very good time to see alot of new material. i have alot of ideas about new songs about book 7 and, of course, the relationships and just lives of harry potter characters.

if you guys wanna check out what ive been working on the last few months, click the following link: seems like london. i hate doing shameless plugs like that...but i have to say that if it werent for wizard rock, id still be writing songs that nobody ever hears. WR affects people in different ways i think -- some people it gives them an interest in music, some people an interest into playing music, and some people -- like me -- it pulls you out of your comfort zones. im so touched that not only are you guys supportive of music, you actually like me...that sounds horrible but im too tired to think of a more elegant way of saying that. but i digress. you guys have given me confidence in playing music in front of people and recording it in hopes that people will like it and get something out of it rather than me recording it for myself and not letting anyone hear it ever.

 i love you guys...love is a funny word. i really didnt understand it until i really started getting into harry potter and most of that has been within the last year or so. when i used to think of love, i would think of a girlfriend or wife or child or family member...but now when i think of the word...i think of people in general. i think of how just showing somebody love or talking to them or even the small notion of a smile to them can actually brighten up their day. and that makes my day. i think john lennon said it best -- "all you need is love...love is all you need" that is the central theme in the harry potter series...love. i know thats like saying oranges are orange or something else glaringly obvious and that im really just preaching to the choir. the most interesting thing about the harry potter series though is how rowling conveys love in the novels.

my friend jeremy and i were hanging out at school a few weeks ago and somehow, we started talking about harry potter. we were both talking about how jk rowling could have easily worked in pagan beliefs and all the beliefs of wicca or whatever but she doesnt. god as in the christian god, allah, jehovah, wiccan dieties, or any other dieties that i can think is never mentioned once in the novels. instead, she says "love" is all you need. love is the weapon. it is the power. she crafts an amazing story around the concept of love...if you pay attention, anyone who is evil in the books is always either neglected from people THEY love, thus not receiving love as in the case of snape (although that changes in the end) and malfoy or they despise the notion of love as in voldemort wheras all the "good" characterts are surrounded by love. i just went into a horrible conceived rant but i think it makes sense....probably not but oh well deal with it =].

but back to my original point...i love you guys. i love what you are doing for music. i love what you are doing for people. i love what you have done for me. thank you. i love you.

i am sorry to say though that i probably wont be on here much over the next few months....ill try to get on once a week and try to do a monthly update about both of my bands. thanks for reading this horrible blog haha..
