Many thanks to everyone who made the trip out to Alameda on a wet Saturday to check us out at Rooster's Roadhouse! This was our first experience with Rooster's -- I gotta say, it's one of the nicer small clubs in the East Bay, and the fact that it's an all ages venue is quite cool. Looking forward to some happy returns...

As usual, the Thaw brought the rock to good effect. The proof really is in the pudding: after two years in the box, the Long Thaw is primed for for performance. Come witness the testimonial, folks.

An added bonus and the big surprise of the night (at least for us), was Berkeley's Black Box, to whom we had never had the opportunity to be exposed. Unfortunately, the better part of the Thaw crowd came a bit later and missed them, but these kids can really do it to it on the stage -- we may have to ramp up the calisthenics and weight training...
