well, at least you can see some of the beautiful children supported by children of uganda over the last several years.  we are so proud of this video.

in 2004 ~ a photographer traveled with our dance troupe when they toured the united states.  he also traveled to uganda.  his journey is chronicled in a beautiful book called TRANSCENDENT SPIRIT.

the children captured in the pages of this beautiful book are some of the most extraordinary children in the world.  they have all lost one or both parents to AIDS and/or war.  as i have mentioned before, music, drum and dance is a cornerstone of ugandan culture. 

these children have helped preserve their beloved country's culture; and they have also raised awareness about the global AIDS orphan crisis through their bi-annual u.s. tours over the last decade.

many of the children have proudly graduated from our programs and now tour with an older dance troupe.
