I recently submitted some of my mixed media work for a fun little project called Theatre des Modes. Each participant created their own interpretation of a "Paper Theatre" in the style of Marie Antoinette. Paper theatres were common toys in days gone by, and some folks still collect them, or create replicas. Here are some photos of each participant's work:

Wow! Very cool. Some great work, and clearly a lot of time. I'm not surprised that a pigeon was featured prominently in yours, however. Were birds a common theme in the paper theaters/court of Louis & Marie?
