In Other Calle 13 News, The New Single & Video For “Fiesta de Locos” (“Festival of Lunatics”) Has Just Been Released.
“Puerto Rican duo Calle 13 just released the video for "Fiesta de Locos," the fourth single from the pair’s latest album, Los de Atras Vienen Conmigo. The song, which imagines Residente and Visitante as a couple of mental patients, was inspired by Emir Kusturica’s Balkan gypsy-punk rock music. Filmed during a concert in Buenos Aires last year, the video captures the general revelry of the audience with a few “crazy” little moments spliced in between. Watch carefully for two women making out; a priest getting down; and a guy hugging a rooster.
