After much consideration and research, I have decided that Northeastern University is the place for me! In the past week I've taken tours and met with students and professors of other Boston based schools, and now that the time to commit has come, I'm happy with the idea of being a student at Northeastern. They have a wonderful cultural anthropology program (which is what I am interested in going for) as well as a dual major option in International Affairs/ Anthropology. Im so excited! But as I mentioned in an earlier post, I am not going to put my career on hold, however. Progress is being made right now in Blackground's legal/contractual negotiations that have been holding up the release of any new music for months now. But I am happy to say that it looks like things are about to (finally) get rolling. Whhhhewwww.!! Since I feel the need to cover all my bases, I think it is essential and beneficial for me to eventually have a college degree. My long term goal is to gain a doctorate.... but I gotta take it ONE step at a time!! Lol.

jojo-wow! i am so very happy for you! congratulations! college can be tough, but it's also VERY rewarding. stick with it, and you'll be so proud of yourself when you get that degree! study hard, work hard, play hard, and don't pull too many all-nighters! i appreciate you being such a positive role model for young girls. the world needs more celebrities like you bestwho aren't afraid to stick to their values and commitments no matter how unpopular it might be. a few study tips for you:..1. pair up with a friend in every class and exchange phone numbers, so that when you're sick, you can get what you've missed from them...2. make yourself stick to a study schedule, and turn your phone/blackberry off while you're working. ..3. don't be afraid to write and highlight in your textbooks. i think it makes studying 100X's easier and cuts down on in class note-taking...i wish you all the best!-fallon..

hey JoJo...I think it is a great decision that ypu want to attained college...i think that anybody who wants to attend college is a strong-willed and confident person. I absolutely love your music and wish that you had new music out, but sometimes waiting for new music is always worth the wait. Keep up the great work that you do and study hard. I am a soph in college and my hs is across the street. Seriously, Jojo it will be all the same shit you will learn. I am becoming a teacher and I am just annoyed with everything. I am getting my BA and then I need to get a dual Masters. Getting a Doctorate is hard, isnt like that a PHD? I live in NYC....And I am taking an anthropology class now, its annoying. ..Whats the point of everything?..Whats the point of life?..I have no idea.......Cant wait to hear your single...And do you have other expectations in your life besides music like creating a family one day?..
