Today Switzerland, Slovakia, Argentina, and Honduras qualified for the World Cup! That's 23 out of 32 teams so far!
Hiddink's Russia didn't qualify for the World Cup directly, but at least they are the highest-ranked team in the qualifier playoff and will be the favourites on the European side. Diego Maradona, Argentina's coach, was criticized by fans and media for not coaching the team very well and was in danger of qualifying for the World Cup after the fans lost their faith to believe that Argentina could qualify under that coach, but luckily Argentina qualified directly today.
