Hey Alexandra.....love the wording "music as a character". You've done some amazing work and have a great ear! Hope you'll check out myspace sometime. I own 100% copyright and master for easy clearance. I realize my music isn't quite as cutting edge but lyrically I feel confident about nailing a sentiment.....maybe you'll need something like it one day :) Thanks for your time and consideration and what you've done to expose some amazing indies that would have gone unnoticed if it hadn't been for you.

kj :)

Look at you up there on the big screen looking so beautiful!!! I'm always so proud of you. You were brilliant! In fact, you were way more brilliant than your interviewer.

Hey Alexandra,

It's fun hearing a news lady say "Death Cab for Cutie." Good interview. Check us out if you get a spare minute. We've gotten syncs in The Real World/Road Rules on MTV, Friday Night Lights on NBC, and we've been used for a program called Cinema Sounds that most theaters use for between movie programming. They all came from our first album that was recorded in 5 days. We just wrapped up mixing for our second album to be called "Restless Rubes" yesterday. We spent over a year on this one and are really happy with it. All the stuff would be painlessly cleared if you wanted to use it.

Thanks!
Johnathan

Excellent interview with an extremely eloquent, savvy individual. PLEASE, I know you get these requests endlessly but go to www. myspace. com/lifeprojectaustralia and listen particularly to 'I'll Be There For You' - this is incredible original material, with this song in particular perfect for Grey's Anatomy - I know you like to support unknown, undiscovered bands so here is the perfect opportuntity! Thanks and keep up the incredible work - you're a legend! stevengiles@baseworld.com

Very good point.
The internet makes it easier for any band to be heard, but at the end of the day it all comes down to whether the music is actually good or not!

Very nice ! Many of the songs I've in my ipod are from Grey's Anatomy =)

You should take a look at "Need" by Hana Pestle for New Moon.
It fits perfectly with the atmosphere ^^
