So I am at work today. It was a fairly pleasant and surely a cooler day that some here lately.
I have a table of two ladies, sit down and look at me from under rather bushy eyebrows and ask for a glass of wine. I say, Hello. What kind of wine would you like?
The reply?? Ze cheap one. In a raspy Betty Davis voice....Okay! Would you like cheap red? cheap white?  Pick a brand, pick a color, pick anything please...
   Just a hint though, to help your server.
And please, please...chew your food all the way up before you speak to me. Half masticated bread and chicken hanging off your teeth is rather disconcerting. It is like that scene in Jaws where the shark has just dined on Quint, and still has little hangy pieces of him on his great white teeth...
    Some days, I wish I wouldn't have chosen the food service industry.
