Ave friends on MySpace!

You are some of the first to know outside the OSV, the new Sanguinomicon "The Vampyre Prospectus" is now available from Lulu.com. We have released this 3rd edition to be more open minded and true to the nature of the Strigoi Vii. By the end the year, the Prospectus will be also available on Amazon.com and other online bookstores.

Until October 1st, 2008 you will be able to view the entire book and order this text at the following URL: http://www.lulu.com/content/3109204 so you can make your own opinion on this edition.

We are planning two book release celebrations, one in Gotham Halo (New York City) on Sunday, October 12th and in Morte Halo (New Orleans) on Friday, October 31st. Printed copies will be available for $13.00 USD each and I will be pleased to sign them personally for you.

The New York gathering on October 12th will begin with signed books being available at 4pm-6pm at Gothic Renaissance (http://www.myspace.com/gothicrenaissance) at 104 4th Avenue. Then there will be a Strigoi Vii "moot" which is a banquet style gathering on Sunday, October 12th (Columbus Day) weekend from 7pm-10pm, followed by a journey to the belly dance haven and steampunk club, the Opium Den (http://www.myspace.com/club_opium) for dancing and celebration. If you are interested in attending this event please RSVP with Mael via PM (private message) on the CoE with that you would like to attend and you would like to bring guests. Then the address for the moot will be released upon the RSVP. Please do this in advance as We have limited seating.

The New Orleans gathering on October 31st will be a similar procedure and timeframe. Copies of the Prospectus will be available at the Boutique du Vampyre (http://www.feelthebite.com) at 712 rue Orleans all day. Following this there will be a private dinner for those who RSVP with Mael from 7pm-9pm, then we will be off to the Anne Rice Vampire Lestat Ball (http://www.vampirelestatfanclub.com) at Rosie's Jazz Hall.

The OSV (Ordo Strigoi Vii) is being reformatted and if you have been involved in the past please contact me personally via PM on the CoE for further news. The Order is moving to a more private level and will no longer be accepting interviews without an invitation. You do not need to be a member of the OSV in order to be subscribed to the Current of Elorath message boards.
