We only met Ben recently but he's become a very significant person in the lives of Crokodile Tears. www.itsallaboutcoventry.co.uk is a great what's on guide and video magazine that keeps people informed of what's happening in Coventry (as well as other locations in the country). There's also a must-see video for new visitors to Coventry demonstrating how motorists should negociate the citys'  ringroad!
Ben himself is a very enthusiastic boffin-ish bloke with lots of great ideas and has been a real pleasure to work with. We shot an interview with him after Ben's girlfriend Mary spotted us on the internet and suggested that he contact us as she thought that what we did was a bit different from some of the other bands. Mary also gave me one of the muffins she'd baked when we met so thanks for that as well Mary! The video was shot at Cabin studios where we record and we were all very pleased with it (even Amy who hadn't really wanted to take part!) You can watch the video of the interview on www.itsallaboutcoventry.co.uk
After the initial work Ben got in touch about making a music video for one of our quiter songs on location in Coventry. I'd just written 'Smile' and everyone seemed to like it so it was shot early one Sunday morning several weeks ago. Amy nearly missed the shoot because she'd over-done things the night before but we were able to splice her sections in later on. If you look carefully you'll spot the locations we used around the city centre and Foleshill where Amy and I live. You can watch the video for 'Smile' on www.itsallaboutcoventry.co.uk
Now we all want to work together again and are planning to do another music video and we're thinking along the lines of the 'Keystone Cops' though I can't say what the song we're planning to do is just yet!
I think that we should all try to support Ben in this brave venture of his so I recommend him and his site to you.
