I suppose that it's time for me to provide folks an update. I posted some time back about my lack of photography related post and how I was beginning care for bladder cancer. Since that time I have undergone chemotherapy and radical surgery in the effort to cure the cancer.

I'm happy to say that the treatment has eliminated the disease, at least for the time being. It has been a hard road, one that I would not wish on anyone, but I am now done and hopefully this will be the end of it. The chemo kicked my but and the surgery was difficult to say the least. I'm at home now recovering, but not sure how long that will take.

Hopefully I will soon be up to getting out and taking more pictures to share here. I can't wait, as I think it will do much to restore my spirits.

Thanks to all who sent me wishes and prayers during the ordeal.

Sorry to hear this. I had 6 cancer related surgeries in a 22 month period. The last one was Oct '07, so not even a year ago. I had 5 months of chemo, and I know about the butt kicking. While everyone's cancer and their experiences with it are different, just know I am in the boat too. Any questions, comments, or concerns, let me know. Sometimes the only people that "get it" are the ones who have been down the same road.

I am so happy to hear the great news. I know we will all continue to pray for your recovery. I will pass on the news to all the family here in Texas, we all love you and miss you very much. Just remember Dad had cancer over 20 years ago and he survived it, I know you will too. Our love and prayers to both you and Heather.

Love you,
Christina
