I agree. Maybe you could run for president? Or at least move closer and be our pastor guy.

actually just to clarify... as i've found in my years of growing up and personal expierience... just because one is pro choice... (as am i) does not make you pro-abortion. if i've learned any lesson in the last few years of my adult life it is that concept. soo... maybe... just maybe it should read...

obama is all for allowing a person to make a personal decision whether he agrees with the decision or not....
mccain is all for killing with the cluster bombs either way...

just a thought.... that's all i'm sayn ... no worries... not sending any videos...

well, that's your choice and i firmly believe that you have the right to make it. perhaps you could explain your position to my grandfather who lost both legs in WW II so guys like you don't have to vote.

Not voting isnt going to keep one of them from getting elected, you do realize this right? So why not vote for the better one.

Nobody will ever agree with everything someone believes in, but that doesn't mean you can't find one candidate that you prefer over the other. Not voting doesn't do any good. At least if you vote, you can be assured that you did your part in getting the person you would at least "prefer" out of the two.

Also, just because someone is pro-choice doesn't mean they feel every person should go out and kill their child once they get pregnant...I'm pro-choice...it's a womans right to choose whether they feel sufficient to keep a child, but that doesn't mean i think its necessarily OK to kill your kid. There are circumstances, and it shouldn't be taken lightly...

Anyways, all my point is is that by not voting you're not really benefiting anything. Sept if something goes wrong and whoever becomes president turns into another Bush and everyone hates him...then at least you can say "well, i dont didnt vote..so dont blame me" But really, that's a pretty lame thing to be able to look forward to saying.

I think all elections are a lesser of two evils.

I do find it sadly amusing how we can be offended at the thought of people in a foreign country dying because we think they may be involved in plots against us and our allies(whether you believe it or not is irrellevant; leaders of this country don't go killing people for the fun of it).
Yet we think it is perfectly acceptable to kill children by the millions domestically.

There is a disturbing trend when we claim the right to choose is done after you sleep with someone! HELLO! You chose then did you not, both male and female. There is no difference in pro-choice and pro-abortion. It is basically saying "I am for killing babies; I am just for women having the right to kill babies." Please tell me I am not the only one who sees the lunacy in that!?

By the way; lets not forget God dictates who is the leader of our nation and every other regardless of our ability to understand that or not. I will vote not because I like either one of them but because I like one much less than the other.

Excuse me on my typo:

It is basically saying " I am not for killing babies; I am just for women to have the right to kill babies."

Apologies

LOL...a man unwilling to compromise on what God holds dear...life, against some hilariously stupid comments. Well played. There is no "better" choice. They both suck.

Just curious, Kent. Would you ever kill someone?
Tough question, I know.

Someone trying to kill you?
or your wife/kids?
or someone else's wife/kids?

Just curious. I find your rationale for not exercising your right to vote overly simplistic. Especially for someone as smart and biblically informed as you.

My guess is, so do you. You were just trying to make a pithy point during an emotionally trying (election) year. Blogs do that.

Following Christ makes me a patriot of a Heavenly Kingdom not an earthly nation! Whether I vote or not or who wins, God is in control! That is true peace

I am not simply going to vote....just to vote...if I don't see a canidate who believes or values the same issues...then I am not going to vote for that person and then go vote for the other.

Compare what a politician says to the sermon on Mars Hill and then decide yes, no or neither!!

This year for me..it's neither!!
